The Starlink kit (about $349, bought direct from Starlink) doesn't include a proper mount or a plan for whole-home coverage. We handle the part that matters:
Clear sky-view placement and a secure, weather-sealed mount
A clean cable path with a sealed entry (coastal weather is brutal on bad seals)
Wi-Fi that covers the whole home — mesh nodes added where the signal drops

Here's what nobody tells you at checkout: Starlink publishes no wind rating for the Standard dish, and Starlink's own Ridgeline roof mount is rated to just 50 mph. The Outer Banks sees named storms most years — 50 mph is a breezy Tuesday in November, not a hurricane.
Our premium option is a mount we engineer for the site: a rigid steel pole, through-bolted to the structure or set in its own concrete footing, sized and placed for the wind exposure of your property. The dish stays put, stays aligned, and doesn't become a projectile in the first real blow.
Nobody else on the beach is offering this. If your Starlink is going on an exposed oceanfront home in Rodanthe or a tall pole in Corolla, this is the difference between re-buying a dish every storm season and forgetting it's up there.
